Purse-aholic

This is a mini album I made with the inspiration from a dear friend Kathy Ortha. Thanks Kathy for your inspiration and love your work. Its made from paper bags and shopping bags. It was a project of labor. Kathy's instructions were fabulous although I made mistakes along the way. I love how it turned out. There are many places for journaling and pictures. Every page has a tag or photo mat that can be removed. Most of the pages flip up or down or both. So many interactive elements. It was so much fun to make!!!!

Joann's Clearance

Oh my , couldn't believe my treasure I found in Joann's. I have some many gifts to make so went to Joann's to get supplies for a wedding present, bridal shower, and baby birthday. I was in a hurry because of the heat and hubby was in the car. I got what I came after and walked down a clearance aisle and couldn't believe that there were spellbindders for $2.97 and some Sizzix dies for $2.97 and $1.97. They didn't have a lot of them and not a great variety but here is what I picked up.

More Alaska Pics.

I'm still in awe at the Alaska scenery and the fantastic time we had there. I keep reliving the trip. Anyways wanted to share some of the prints we did in Black and White. Also if Rhonda and her hubby would like a copy of these pictures please let me know. I would be delighted to send them to you.

Also is one of the moose abstract pictures framed. I really like how it turned out. I can see more of these pictures in my future.

Abstract Moose Pictures

While we were on our vacation in Alaska we saw these abstract pictures done which I though, "Heck, I can do that." They were selling for about $30. So I took mental pictures of them and this is what I came up with. I think they look as good as the ones for sell or better.

The moose is from Cricut Cartridge Animal Kingdom. The eagle is a scut file. the sun is from a punch and the trees are a Tim Holz die. I really like those trees and Tim of course. LOL
