Alaska 2011

As many of my followers know that we took our vacation this year to the BEAUTIFUL untouched wilderness of Alaska. We were blessed to be able to share this vacation with my oldest sister and her hubby. We had a fantastic time and so wish I could have been there with you. You must plan a trip to Alaska to really experience an UNTOUCHED WILDERNESS. Everywhere you looked there was an breathtaking view!!! Seriously!!!
On our travels we meant so many nice Alaskans and visitors! We met an awesome couple from Utah at the Alaskan Lodge. These pictures are posted for them!!! Enjoy them and if you want more pictures of anything in Alaska , ask and I'm sure we have it since my hubby was a great photographer and took thousands of pictures.

We were blessed to see Mt. Denali (Mt. McKinley) since its only appears 20% of the time because of the clouds and only 30% of the people get to see it!! It is such an awesome vies.

Prom LO

This is another prom LO. He attended five proms.

More fishing LO

Some more fishing LO. I have tons of them. LOL
The first one is one my son did when he was younger ( a lot younger). He was eating sweetish fish and fish crackers and did some math with it. It was so cute that I had to take a picture of it.

This is a card he sent to his dad on Father's Day. I wanted to scrap it for him. Cute message inside of it meant for his father only.

This one has some of Tim Holtz's chain clasp things.. I think they look like fishing stringers.

Fishing LO

A fishing LO I did for my son's album. He loves to fish and I have tons of LO which I'm putting all in one album (or two or three... :))

A Close up view of the circle. I printed that using MS Office. Then used my cricut to cut the circle. It was kind of tricky to get things lined up but I was please with my hard work.

High School LO

These are some layouts I did of my son's highschool yearly pictures. I'm trying to get caught up with his album. I'm still way behind. Some day i'll be caught up.. Cough, cough

River and Wind Challenge 2011

My hubby and I rode on the Salvation Army bike ride on Saturday, June 4. It is called River and Wind Challenge because the ride winds through the country along the river with wind in your face. It is a 62 mile long ride. We are super proud of ourselves. It was a challenge but loved every minute of it. Here are a few pictures of the ride.

Thank you card

This is a thank you card i made for my stash. I just got my creative juices flowing one night and decided to whip up a card. The flowers are a punch out from CM that I got free from a crop I attended. I use jewels as centers that I had left over from my daughter's wedding creations. Use a stamp from SU and used stickles around the outside of the oval. Added some rickrack trim that I had on hand. Embossed the card too.

Wedding Card

This is a wedding card I did for a wedding on June 25. I used some punch out flowers from CM that I got free at a crop I recently went to. Add a 'wedding cake' brad for the center. Then stamped the embossed nestabilities with a SU stamp. Added a SU ribbon that I got free from a dear friend. Thanks Jenny. I found these ring embellishments at a Hobby Lobby store. I even embossed the background of the card (which I know doesn't show up) and also the nestabilities cut. Whoo Hoo!! I like how it turned out. The inside is stamped with a sentiment from SU. Love that company and their stamps.
