Interactive 12 x 12 album from CK convention

Here is the 12 X 12 interactive album I made at the CK Convention in NC while on vacation.  It has many unique interactive parts to it. I learned a lot and had tons of fun.  I then came home and finished it and decided it needed some distressing to make it suit my test.  I distressed on it for days.  I added many little elements/embellishments on my own to finish it out.  Now all it needs is some pictures.

CK Convention 2013

Recently I attended a CK Convention in NC with two other addictive scrapbookers.  I have to say it was a great vacation and a great time at the Convention!  I took three classes plus shopped until I dropped.  In fact my shoulder hurt from all the lugging of class materials, free stuff, and bought purchases.  Here are a few pictures of what I got free, bought, or made.  I can't wait to go to another one of these.

Proud moment for me

Here are a couple of precious photos of the children who received my Camper and Mini album in the mail.  They simply loved it!  Made me so happy and proud!!  Those children are so sweet and appreciate all you do.

Vintage Camper and Mini Album using B2B

We took our nephews four children camping in August.  As usual it was tons of fun!!  I usually plan a crafting project to do plus many other activities.  This year we hand painted an apron for their mom, made a terrarium, did a scavenger hunt, had a pinata filled with yummies, took them fishing, did some geocaching, watch a movie or two, swimming, and the other normal activities such as hiking, smores.
Here is the picture of the camper I created and "built" it out of chipboard and cardstock. It took me way too much paper and chipboard.  It was a trial and error project.  It is not perfect and it needs modification if I was ever to do it again.  I believe it is a one time project of its own.  It housed an mini album that was inspired by Kathy B2B instructions at Paper Phenomenon .  I will have to say that I started with these instructions but made tons of modifications and added my own twist.  That is what I love about her instructions.  They allow for your own creativity.  Check out my project below.
