Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest, but about who came and never left your side.

Sneak preview of my next project

Jenny my wonderful SU representative got me so excited about making a bag with the Sizzix big square die with fabric. I'm waiting for it to arrive but couldn't wait to get the material. Here is the previews of my next project. I can't wait to get it. Thanks Jenny for getting me inspired.

Flood of Spring 2010

After all the snow fall that we got, we got flooded this past weekend. It is amazing how much water we got. It rainned for three days and on top of all the feet of snow that was on the ground, the water began to rise and rise. We live on a hill so weren't effected by it. Here are some pictures. Check out the one with the road covered. That small town of Doneytown was cut off from the rest of the world. Both ways into that town was unpassable. The overall picture is of the Somerset County Fairgrounds. It was completely flooded.

Fuzzy Sock Cupcakes

These are some fuzzy sock cupcakes I made for thank-yous. I also made one from the arm warmers that I found on sale at Walmart for my daughter. She loves those. To make them a little thicker I stuffed them with some kleenex. I also have a couple more to make but haven't gotten around to making the cupcake wrappers. Lazy...hummmmm....

Updated Finished Paper Bag Album

Here is my first paper bag album finished. This is actually the first project that I did for myself. All my other projects are done for others or my children. I love making things for others and giving them as gifts. We took this trip last June (2009) and are looking forward in doing it again this June (2010). I wanted to get this book done before we took the next one.

Retirement Wordbook _OVR

This is a retirement wordbook I made for my sister to give to her friend who is retiring this month. There are several places where I haven't added wording yet and a place for her business card too. There are 32 pictures in this small word book. I had to get created to get all these pictures in it so I madea pocket from a business size envelope, four pocket "paper bag" pockets to hold tags for photos, a double slider made from grocery bag, and a waterfall card to hold more photos.

This is a pocket made from a business size envelopes.

This is a double slider made from a plastic grocery bag.

These are "small paper bag" pockets that I made to put tags in for more pictures.

This is a waterfall pull for all the group pictures. You pull it and the pictures flip open. How cool is that.
