October Bulletin Boards

Here are two bulletin boards I did for my classroom. The one with the witches hats is the good paper board. The students need to get a dozen good papers in order to earn a prize. It is a great motivator. There is a reading worm above it and I put a witches hat and some bats on it to make it interesting.l The kids thought it was so funny!!!

This one with the spiders is the good sticker charts. This is where the kids get to put a sticker on their chart for any 100% test that they earned. Once they get a "bingo" row they earn a prize. Another fantastic motivator. The students made spiders from pompoms and pipe cleaners to put next to their chart.

I made this T-shirt for a 13 year boy who just got two new little sisters in the Past two years. His sisters are 2 years and 2 weeks old. The newborn is ADORABLE. He came to school today wearing his t-shirt. He loved it!! He makes an awesome big brother, too.

50th Birthday Sucks Bouquet and Big Buckle Card

My BIL turned 50th this weekend and we had a celebration for him. I made him this bouquet along with this card. A good time was held by all!! Happy Birthday, Jim!! Enjoy the ride!

I used the Cricut to cut out the 50 Sucks sign and SU punches and stamps and paper to make the card.

This is a picture of the Birthday Guy and his wife, along with his SIL.

Heidi Grace Rub-on Note Cards

This is a set of notecards I made for a thank you gift. Just needed a little something to thank a dear friend. I used Heidi Grace rub-ons. I found these on sale this summer and thought they were so cute. I didn't know what I would use them for when I bought them but they really came in handy for these cards.

Four panel Snowmen Christmas Cards

This is the first panel of the card.
I use the large fexible snowman stamp from Stampendous.com. This is such a cool stamp. You can change the shape of the snowman by stretching or pulling it wider. I used the same stamp for all the panels but just changed the shape of it.One the first panel I used black flock for the hat. And used my imaginisce tool to set the gems for his smile. I used red stickles for the bird and orange stickles of the nose.

This is the second panel. I stamped the gloves and scarf and then colored and cut them out. I use string for the mittens so they would hang for his arm. Star Dust stickles was used on the scarf and mittens. Orange stickles on the nose again.

This is the third panel. Red and White glitter was used on the hat. Once again I stamped the hat and mitten and cut them out and then glued them onto the card. Orange stickles on the nose.

This is the fourth and last panel. I stamped the scarf and trimmed it up and position it as if the wind was blowing it. Stickles were used on it and on the nose. The sentiment was a stamp from SU.

Here are the envelopes I made to fit the cards. I used my MS score board. I cut a square 9 3/4 by 9 3/4. I scored them at 3 1/2, turned square and scored at 4 1/2, turned and scored at 3 1/2, and turned one more time and scored at 4 1/2.

Our church sponsors a monthly crop. We are just starting it up again. Everyone gets so busy over the summer with their families that we don't have a regular summer schedule. Now we are starting it up again. It was a small group this month and we are hopeful others will join us again next month. Come join us in October. If you want more details, just contact me!

Camping Compas Book with lots of added inserts.

Once again I was delighted and beyond excitement to take my nephew's children camping. We have done this each summer. I look forward to this weekend and enjoying the outdoors with them.. Here is a book that I made for them. I had won this book at a crop that I went to in the spring. I thought it was fitting for a camp book. Almost every page is an interactive page with waterfall inserts, accordion folded book, or even a double slider.

This is an accordion insert. there are pictures on both sides of the pages, too.

This is a waterfall insert that I made using circles. It had no directions and made it up as I went. LOL I like how it turned out. I love do something new.

This is a fold open book with lots of tag inserts for many many pictures.

To make the waterfall insert, cut a strip 9" by 3. Score that at 2, 2 3/4, 3 1/2, and 4 1/4. Cut pieces of paper 4 1/2 by 2 3/4, 4 1/2 by 3 1/2, 4 1/2 by 4 1/4, and 4 1/2 by 5. You can adjust the size of these pieces to fit your pictures. Just make sure that they increase by 3/4 inches and the widths are the same. Attach the smallest piece and the bottom and work you way up to the biggest pieces. The adhesive needs to be put just below the score line. Then attach it to a band.

This is a double slider made using a grocery bag.

I can't wait until next summer to plan another camping trip with these awesome kids!!!
