November Bulletin Boards

I forgot to post these pictures in November. I guess never too late. LOL
I use the one to display the students papers and if they get 12 papers they earn a prize. The other one is a chart we use for a variety of things such as good behavior, 100%, well-organized, etc. The students earn a prize when they get a bingo.

Coasters from Tiles

These are coasters I made for our home. I rarely make anything for myself. We recently redid our livingroom and we needed new coasters. I used 4 x 4 tiles from Lowes and stamped on them using Stazon brown and black ink. Then use a permanent marker to color blue. I sprayed them with a clear coat.

Christmas Card

We had a challenge at the crop that I attended. They challenged us to make 45 cards to send to the troops in the service. We exceeded their challenge. It was hard for me to make a card or two because I didn't bring along anything Christmasy. However I did come up with this card. I think it turned out very well. I love the non traditional colors of it.

70th Birthday Card

A special friend celebrated her 70th birthday last weekend. I made this card for her.
Happy Birthday, Mary!!

Queen of the Crop

This past weekend I attended a weekend crop at Camp Harmony. It was such an awesome weekend. They pamper us with food, snacks, prizes, and much much more. I was crowned the Queen of the Crop and received a crown and wand, too!!! Also was given a pack of paper with embellishments galore. Wow!! I was blessed.

Here is the prize I won for being the Queen of the Crop.

Here are more pictures from the crop.

I also won a cricut cartridge, too!

And the best part of the crop was I won the GRAND PRIZE of a free crop in April, 2012. Thats $80 value!!!!! I can't wait until April.

Even with all this excitement. I completed 43 pages of our Alaska trip!!! I got so much accomplished and made new friends, too!!!

Sentiments for cards.

I found these sentiments and just had to share. They are so cute. After typing the three dots ...is the inside of the card. The capitalized word was the main word featured.

SMILE, you look better ...and it less trouble than makeup.

be Happy, its your birthday ...you can be grouchy tomorrow.

eat more CAKE ... its the best part of having a birthday.

make a WISH and blow out your candles ...but be sure there is a fire extinguisher near by.

a true FRIEND always remembers your birthday....but not your age. (how old are you again?)

every birthday is a GIFT...unfortunately, it comes with a No Return Policy

life's greatest blessing is LOVE... but coffee and chocolate rack right up there.

a big THANK YOU ... a little thank you didn't seem like enough.

LAUGH, its the best medicine ...and cheaper than therapy.

ENJOY the little things in LIFE...like diamonds and pearls.

i see CONGRATS are in order......congrats out of order would be GNATS ROC!

you ROCK.... i'll never take our friendship for granite.

Mosaic Moments

I went to a Friday night crop at our church last night. I did these mosaic pages using the tamipotter technique. Oh I love to do them. The more I do the easier it is. I can't wait until Christmas because I'm hoping Santa brings more of her 'supplies'. LOL These flowers are from our Alaska trip. Oh I love that trip. It was my all time favorite. (I know I say that all the time but it truly was!!! I would go back tomorrow if the opportunity arose.)

Halloween Bats

I made these Halloween candy bar bat wraps for my students. I printed the label out on the computer and used my SU punches to punch them out. A little wiggly eyes and some hot glue was all it took. I know they will love them. You can get the pattern of the bat from here.

Women of Faith, 2011

Just got back from a fabulous weekend!! I attended the Women Of Faith Conference in Pittsburgh, PA. This was my seventh conference and it ranks up at the top. Loved all the inspiration that I received. If you haven't been to one or missed this one, you really missed a great one. Henry Cloud had a touching message. Mary Mary's concert was upbeat too. You need to plan your trip to WOF. Its never too early to get a group of friends, sisters, or other girlfriends together and plan your trip. They will be back in Pittsburgh next year!!! My trip is already planned. See you there!!!
