Here are the first two pages I did for the album I'm working on for my son's travels this past summer. I was inspired by the Mosaic Momments by Tami Potter!! Check out her new book and you will be hooked!!

What an touching story!
I have been following Monique Griffith through her ordeal with Stage 3 breast cancer. She has now finished her treatments and shows no sign of further disease! Praise the Lord! She is an awesome inspiration to many of us and I'm so thankful she willingly shared her journey with us. What an awesome person! Check out her blog, Monique Griffith Designs to see her creativity at work. She has recently redesigned it too. What a transformation!!
..She had her first Ustream since kicking cancer in the butt and it was awesome! She had tons of us supporting her and enjoying ourselves. Thanks, Monique. The chat room was moving so quickly it made you dizzy. :) She gave out some fantastic prizes. I was one of those lucky ones that won!!! It was a stamp set donated by MyPinkStamper. Robyn is such a generous person. Don't forget to check her blog out, too. I'm so thankful for all my online friends. Thanks Monique!!!!

Scraproom 2011
This is my scrapping area. Many of my online friends, sisters, and sister in laws have asked to see it. Its not actually called a room because the staircase is in this room although it has a door to close off the other rooms. Its not big at all and I've tried to utilize the space as much as possible. The bad part is there is a gun cabinet in here taking up a lot of space but there is no other room to put it in. I really wish I had that space for more work area. Oh well... Can't have a perfect space.
I got three old black plastic cassette racks free while on vacation. I had to haul them everywhere we went on vacation. LOL I painted them white and cut foam board to make shelves. I love that I can adjust the shelves the way I want. I have two here in the corner and one with my stamping supplies on it. THis is shown several pictures down.

Black Magic Technique
I saw this technique done on several blogs and thought it looks so cool. Of course my creative mind wouldn't rest until I tried it. I love how it turned out. It was my first attempt so I'm sure I have lots of room for improvement. I turned it into a thank you card for someone near and dear to me.

MS Corner and Border Punch
I found this on clearance at Michael's yesterday. I'm falling in love with MS corner and border punches. They make great accents to pages, cards, and other projects.

Snowmany Thanks
These are the thank you cards I made for the many wonderful gifts I got this year. Santa was really good to me!! I cut the base of the card at 6 1/2 inches by 5 inches. I used MS Loopy border and corner punch. Then stamped white snowflakes on the base. I used Distress Ink Broken China and stamped the snowman and the Snowmany Thanks. Both of those were Peachy Keen stamps. However when I stamped the snowman I didn't stamp the tails of the scarf. I masked over them with a small piece of post a note because I wanted to use ribbon for the scarf. I used my Prisma pencil to color the carrot nose. I layered it onto my base. I use three D foam stickers to make the snowman pop out. I also stamped a snowflake on the front and back of the envelope.
