Only in our 'Neck of the Woods"

The storms of Winter 2010 really put a toll on us! We got about 4 feet of snow in two back to back storms. Check out the guys on the factory's roof that is right across the road from our house. Snowplowers, wheelbarrows, shovels and man power on top of the roof.

Bike Trip Paper Bag Album

This is my first paper bag album. It isn't quite finished and no pictures have been added to it. I have to get them printed off. I also haven't even finished most pages. My sister wanted to see it so I'm posting it before its really finished. I think it turned out very well considering it is my first. Oh yes, I made some mistakes but everything is a learning process. My next won't take me so long either. LOL Hope you like it!

Faux leather wallet

This was my second of these cards. The first one I forgot to take a picture of it before sending it. This one was a thank you that I sent to my sister.

Flip Flop Card

During our online crop at http://piecesofpaper.lefora.com/ we learned how to make a flip flop card. This is mine. I'm sending it to my daughter for Valentine's day. It was fun to make. Hope you like it.

Scratch and Sniff

At http://piecesofpaper.lefora.com/ we have an online crop once a month. This month we learned how to make scratch and sniff stickers using dry favored fruit drink mixed into clear embossing powder. Here are three flowers that I made. I plan to use them on a card when i have time. Here are the directions of how i made it.
Directions are from Katie from our online group. Thanks Katie.
1. mix 1 tsp. of clear embossing powder with 1 tsp. of sugar-free drink mix or sugar-free hot chocolate or nutmeg or cinnamon
2. use your solid stamp on your versamark pad or pigment ink pad and stamp on your paper
3. pour embossing mixture onto your stamp and shake off the extra
4. heat with your heat gun
5. you know have a scratch and sniff stamped

I made this wallet for my brother for helping me out with deciding what computer to buy. I sent him the check in it.

Winterstorm 2010

The snow started falling on Friday, Feb. 5 at 9 a.m. and never stopped until 2 p.m. on Sat. Feb. 6. We got 3 FEET of snow. Never in my life have I've seen that much snow in such a short time. We were literally snowed in. The roads weren't plowed and you couldn't even move. After shoveling all day, and I mean all day, I was exhausted and didn't feel very creative.

Wedding pictures

Due to request I'm posting several wedding pictures of my beautiful daughter and great son-in-law!! It was a perfect day and she was a radiant bride. What a Lovely Wedding!! There are so many great photos to choose from.
