Women of Faith

Just want to post a note. Just spent an amazing weekend with some special friends at Women of Fsith in Columbus, 0hio.  It was one of their best ones ever. Got to meet other great women, too. I always amazed at the new friendships I make there. I actually ran into some old friends there too.  Got to see my sister Jeanette and my three nieces (Amanda, Mandi, Holly).  I was totally surprised to run into them.  It was a great weekend.  Also I have been busy crafting but a lot of the items I have done are customer orders or gifts so can't post them yet.              

Happy NEW Year to everyone. I have been truly blessed with great family and friends. I wish everyone the best 2015 ever. Live your life to the fullest. Enjoy each moment and make it count. I'm also very thankful for all my crafty friends I have made through this blog and hope I've inspired you to be creative.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my family and friends especially to my sisters: Doris , Jeanette, and Gail.  I am blessed with great friends and familyI have so much to be thankful for and hope everyone enjoys their thanksgiving.                                                                                  

Bicycing from Pittsburgh to DC on the GAP and C & O

A group of us will be bicycling from Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C. on June 14. 

This has been on my bucket list and my dream is coming true.  When I return, I will be posting pictures and journaling about our trip. I hope the weather is in our favor and we have a safe trip. 

Camp Harmony Spring Crop

 I attended a weekend spring crop at Camp Harmony with a group of great friends including my two sisters in law!  We had the best time and I got one entire album completed.  I wasn't sure if it was going to happen but I worked up to the last minute.  It turned out great.  I'll be posted that album at a later time.  I was asked to bring it back for the fall weekend crop.  I did several make and takes which are posted below.  I also won a prize along with my two sisters in law.  I look forward to these weekends because I get to see and craft with my friends and meet up with old friends.    The picture above is me in a "Craft" hat that we wore when we won!!  :)

 Make and Takes:   The first is a box made from 16 pieces of 6 x 6 double sided paper which we folded.  What amazed me is how it goes together without any adhesive.  I love how it turned out. 

 This was a lay out that we did.  We also did a card which I failed to take a picture of.  :(

A few of my best friends and I spent last Saturday cropping all day!  Oh what fun!!  Several of us made mini albums together.  That was neat.

7 Day Retreat packing

Here is my car packed to the rim for my seven day retreat.  My passenger had to hold my bedding along with things at her feet.  I couldn't open the hatch until I got some things out or everything would have rolled out.  It was the best retreat I've been on!!  Can't wait to do it again!!

7 Seven 7 Day Retreat

 I'm so excited.  I haven't posted much because I've been so busy trying to get ready for my week long retreat! Playing my pages, projects, and getting everything packed as be so much fun!  As the days get closer the more excited I get.  There are two of us traveling together and we may need  an U-haul.  :)  I'm sure when I get back I'll have lots of things to post!!  Until then, God bless you!

Camp Harmony Fall 2013 Scrap Retreat

I went to a fall scrap retreat in November 2013 for a weekend.  We have such a great time and I get so much done.  This year I worked on our vacation scrapbook(s).  I didn't get it all done but got a huge amount done.  Also the crop leader as each group to come up for a group name and design a 12 x 12 layout.  We named our group of ladies THE SCRAPINATORS!  Although we didn't win by one vote, we enjoyed doing it!!

CK Convention 2013

Recently I attended a CK Convention in NC with two other addictive scrapbookers.  I have to say it was a great vacation and a great time at the Convention!  I took three classes plus shopped until I dropped.  In fact my shoulder hurt from all the lugging of class materials, free stuff, and bought purchases.  Here are a few pictures of what I got free, bought, or made.  I can't wait to go to another one of these.
