Pink Christmas Classroom Party Ideas

Each year the American Legion Ladies Aux. host a party/luncheon for our classroom. They have done this for at least 36 years (thats how long I've taught :)) They provide lunch and all the trimmings. I usually choice a theme or color to decorate with. This year was the year for PINK. All the kids including the boys love pink. I'm posting pictures from the party. I made each child their own candle with their picture on it with a pink Santa hat. I also hung snowflakes from the ceiling which i twisted a pink trim around them. My aide made the Pink Santa placemats. I made each child their ornament with the year and their name on it.The centerpieces were from one of my student's parents who renewed their wedding vows this summer. I just covered up the flower pot with pink foil and hung small pink ornaments from them.

Fall Basket win

I attended a basket fundraiser party with a dear friend this fall. I just never posted pictures. :) Anyways my friend didn't win anything and I won this basket. I love love that pie dish. It was a great time.

Vacation, vacation, vacation Planning for 2013

Dear Bloggers, Now is the time to start planning for your vacation for 2013! I have looked into many options but can't decide where or what activities that I would like to go or do! Does any one have any suggestions? Where was your favorite vacation that you took? It could be for a week or two? In the country or out? I'd love to see pictures. First 2013 project. Thank you Cards using SU inks

This is my first creative project for this new year!! Welcome 2013. These are thank you cards for my students. I want to give them to them tomorrow when we return to school for the first time this year!! I used SU inks, free items given to me at a local crop, and clearance wedding invitations kit that I folded into cards.
