Homeworkopoly - School Bulletin Board
I have used this bulletin board for years and its is such a great motivator to get homework done. I dont' remember the site I got it from but google search the work homoworkopoly and I'm sure you will find it. It has tons of great ideas on it. If the students come to school with the homework done then they get to roll. Some of the places that they land on there is nothing to do but all the other spots are positive things like: Earn free time, No homework Pass, Feed the fish, Sit at the teacher's desk, listen to music while you work, etc.
Back to school Bulletin Board - School Bus
This bulletin board was titled: ON THE ROAD TO LEARNING
Each bus had the student's name on it. This board was used for them to hang up their good work. Once they got so many papers then they earned a prize. They simply love to display their hard work.
Children come with wings... Back to School BB
Here is the back to school bulletin board I did for the huge hall board. It greets you as you enter the school. I have gotten so many compliments on it. The angles are 3D with their curly hair.

"Rolo" Pencils for my Student on the first day of school.
These are my pencils that I'm giving my students on the first day of school. I saw this idea on the internet. They are made out of rolo candy, hershey kisses, pink paper for "erasers", yellow paper that I scored at 1/2" to look like a real pencil, foil for the metal part of the pencil, and printed out tags. I also printed the school's name on the yellow paper before scoring it. I used glue dots to adhere the kisses to the rolo. Aren't they cute?

Chinese Coasters on Cork
From a recent trip to China, our son picked up these coasters. They were just made out of thick paper so I loved the look of them and wanted them to last. I mounted them on cork that I cut the size of the paper coasters. Before mounting them, I painted the coasters black to make them have a finished look. Then put a top coat on them so you could place hot or cold cups/glasses on them. This way they should last forever.
Fabric Ink on Pillows
While we were vacationing in Ohio this summer, I saw these pillows and thought I can do that at 1/2 the cost. I love to try something new. I came home and ordered the Silhouette Fabric paint and stencil paper. I love how the ink came out. Don't think I'll use fabric paint ever again. Now I want to get more colors. I sewed the pillows, too.

Christmas in July -- Nativity Scene Christmas Card
I know its not July but I actually made these in June while we were on vacation in NC and Tennessee and never posted them. Got to wrapped up in traveling that I forgot about them. Anyways here are my Christmas cards for this year.
List of materials:
1. Vanilla CS from SU: Card base is cut at 8 1/2" by 6 and scored at 4 1/4" on the long side. This makes the card base. Then cut another front base at 4" by 5 3/4"
2. Black CS from SU: Front base cut at 4 1/4" by 6
3. The three card tags on front are also cut from the Vanilla CS from SU at 1 3/4" by 2 1/2". You need three of these.
4. Distressed Ink by Tim Holtz: Vintage Photo. used to distress the edges.
5. Stamp sets: Nativity Silhouettes and the Nativity Silhouettes Addition by Papertrey Ink
6. Black and White printed CS cut at 1" by 6"
7. Adhesive - I used my ATG gun.
8. Foam Adhesive dots - for dimension when placing on the three little tags
9. Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper (Stub) - to round the corners on the three tags
10. Crystal gem for the middle star above the manager scene.

End of Vacation
Now that summer is coming to a close in 9 days I have to say it has been on busy summer vacationing. We went to 8 states: Pennsylvania (where I live), Maryland, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, New York Not sure what my favorite place one because we went to some pretty cool places. We loved the Mountains in Tennessee and North Caroline and the tons of waterfalls there. Also my hubby finally got to visit his "bucket list" place in New York! I didn't think I would like it but loved it. Ohio was amazing and found my dream table there too. Now that vacationing is over, hopefully I'll be able to get caught up with all my craft projects. I currently have six major projects on my desk: Pillows, "Christmas presents, shhh can't list them here), three mini albums, and many things for my bulletin boards at school. I think I need to hurry to get everything done before I go back. Now to plan the major vacation trip for next year!
