Camping Crafts - terrarium and finger painting an apron

We took our nephews family camping with us and they have the most adorable well behaved kids that I have ever met.  They are ages 3, 5, 9, and 11.   Each year I made them a camping album for them that they look forward too.  I also do different craft projects with them.  This year they made a terrarium and an apron for their mom.  We also did things like geo-caching with them, and pinata.  It was such a blessing to share this time with them.  Here are some pictures of the activities that we did.

Using maps for Art

    This is a surprise little gift that I made for two special people in my life.  They are so sweet and wanted to do something to show them that I love their kindness and sweetness!   Okay won't get too mushy but they are such a sweet couple.  They started dating about a year ago so I used the map of their states into a heart.

Split Letter M Personalized Tile using Regal Font

Another personalized tile I did for a lady to give as a gift.  I love love getting paid for something that I am passion about.  This lady was giving this as a wedding gift.  This one I added the year that they got married in.  It turned out so nice.  Both parties were pleased:  the giver and the receiver.

Personalized Split Letter S Tile using Regal Font

This is a split letter S personalized tile I did for a lady that ordered it.  I just love getting paid to do what I love!  I recently did one for my nephew who posted on FB.  This lady saw it and then contacted me to see if I would do one for her.   If you are interested in having one done , please contact me and I will give you the details and pricing.

This is using the regal font.  I will have to say that this S really is a bugger to cut .  The swirls are so fine that I had to cut it three time and then modify it.  The lady wanted everyone's name in the family on it.  I love how it turned out.  Very pretty.  She really loved it, too!

Porch chair cushions

I made these cushions for my porch.  I actually had the material bought last year.  I bought the chairs from a friend and painted them.  I love them.  Comfy!!!

Blogging

I saw this saying today and it made me smile!  Blogging is refreshing to me!!  Love that I can share my creativity with all of you!  I have met some great people through blogging!  Thanks for all your support!  When I see some negativity when blogging, I move on and think the person is having a rough time in their life and hope for a better tomorrow for them.  Thanks to all my followers and all that visit my blog!!

Bridal shower card made from doilies

This is a bridal shower card I made for my nephew.  The dress is actually made from three heart shaped doilies.  I added stickles and pearls.
