Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest, but about who came and never left your side.

Goodbye February and Hello March!! I'm posting some pictures that my husband took in February when we hiked to the falls. These falls are Muddy Falls, Swallow Falls State Park, MD. It was a beautiful day but the hike was dangerous at times. We had a blast. Now I'm ready for spring to spring!!

Here is a digital calender I made for my son. I'm only posting the picture part of the calender and not the dates even though I put on some cute graphics and inspirational things on his special dates. It was lots of fun to make especially for him! He appreciates all that I do!! He makes this mamma proud.

This is another double side step card I made for a special girl. It is full of bling and tons of pink accents. I love how it turned out. I inked all the edges in a pale pink to soften the edges.

Made these two cards just for my stash. They could be easily used for Valentine's Day, Father's Day, or for "just because" day. My favorite is the red one. I used twine and washi tape which I rarely use. I softened the edges by using SU or Ranger Ink on them. The sentiment is from SU. The 3 D globe was punched out an atlas with a 1" circle punch. (Don't tell my hubby he is missing a page in his atlas. :)) And the globe stand was found on the net and cut out with my cameo.

This was my first double side step card I ever made. I made it for a special friend and I'm sure she will love it. The pink rhinestone cupcake was pink and I wanted it not to be such a pinkish card I choose the multi colored orange paper. I used both a pink and a orange ink and blended them together which help keep the pink to a minimum.
These are the February/Valentine's Day Bulletin Boards I did this year. The picture of the giraffes actually had pink glitter hearts added to it but I forgot to take the picture after I added them. Giraffes are my favorite animals.

Since I am a teacher this shooting really really touched home. Although we are states away from this elementary school I just knew I had to scrap pictures of our school with our flag flying half mast in honor of the brave teachers, students, and other staff members of that school.

Can you guess what is new with my blog? Hint: I added something to each post. Plumrose Lane is an awesome blogger. She has helped me out so much. This time I was able to follow her clear instructions to add.....(
post dividers) at the end of each post. Thank you thank you for offering these free and also giving simple clear instructions on how to do it!! Your designs are awesome, too! Thanks Plumrose Lane!

Here is a two page spread that I designed with the Drug Free Week we had at our school. I'll be using it to scrap the pictures that I took that week. Our red ribbons we wear said: Life is a Journey. I so love that saying.

I'm not sure of what paper this is from. It was one that I have had forever. My goal this year is to use what I have and not buy paper just to buy it. :) So far I've done well with that promise to myself. I think this font is way cool. It is a free font called: Bleeding Cowboy. Not sure if I care for that name but oh well. :) It is amazing by just adding a few words and graphic/clip art how the paper changes.
